Update Coming Soon: The Man V0.02

(Btw this is our first proper devlog, the other were like meh ones 😊)

FIRST NOTE You will have to play the VN from the start, as the point system is now functional and is key for chapter 1

The Man V0.02 will be soon cumming out (pun intended). The development of the visual novel is one of the hardest I have undertaken in terms of development. We made loads of mistakes in the previous build, did a quick update to increase the quality. However, it never felt like we did the VN justice. The dialogue was all over the place, renders were subpar and some of the models looked… odd (to put it nicely lol). Specifically, Georgia, her cheek bone made her look deathly💀😑 🙄.

(The 4k Renders take longer to render, which is why this update took some time and furthermore, experimentation with animation styles for the VN)

Note:

When we create Renders, we usually do partial renders and then join them, this is why the lighting is all over the place and inaccurate sometimes but will improve with future updates. Doing a full render takes 1 hour - 2 hours depending on the resolution. That is, 1 render = 1 hour to be fully rendered…..CRAZZY  

We are really thankful for the feedback given on Itch, F95zone and FapNation. 

This specific version is experimental in terms of art style, I really want you guys, the players, to give us suggestions to help improve the game.

The Man V0.02:      

• Build has Continuation of the Story via Chapter 1
• Fixing Chapter 0 (prologue) and added more renders to the Georgia Meeting
• Working Point system
• Two Paths Implemented to the Story
• Reworked Megan Toilet HJ scene
• Added Georgia Sex Scene Close up (with two different variations)

• Static renders: 46
• Animation Renders: 491
• Total renders: 537
• Word Count: 1714
 

Render count for the revised Chapter 0(Not final amount):

• New Static Renders: 30
• New Animation NSFW Renders: 610
• Total new renders: 640
• Word Count: 4966
 

Chapter 0/Prologue is very huge in the terms of story, so this chapter will get revamped again for the next update (the revamp will be mainly quality updates)            

Big shout out to our patron leif steinar rasmussen for supporting us during the first release, it really helps knowing that the VN holds some interest at this early stage, I want to give a BIG thank you to all the itch followers who follow us on ITCH. Guys don’t shy away from feedback, giving us some input on the VN and it will deffo make it better!

Future Plans:

Okay I will be honest here, as I myself am in UNI (well COVID made it online-ish) , the next update will be even slower to come. However the next build of The Man will be chapter 2 which will have full POV renders and more NSFW content, and depending on the renders we have, we might include chapter 3.

The Goal will be Christmas time release (TBD).
