It's been a couple of months now since the release of chapter 2 for The Man. Looking back at it is was one of the tedious tasks, we have ever done… However, before I go in-depth on why chapter 2 took so long, I think I owe my patrons, a big thank you for motivating us to keep on developing the visual novel to its best level.

First of the ‘Unholy Team’ consists of two members, me, and the writer. We do this as a hobby and truly want this to be the best out there. As for now, we have a solid story that still needs improvement and most chapters will still have to go through quality assurance and consistency.

Why did chapter 2 take a GOD damn long time?

We simply overestimate ourselves and were adding new ideas to the AVN, thus add more time to the development. Further, we did not know what was considered to be a  good length update. As the feedback, we received told us that the visual novel was too short. The issue occurred when we plan to create chapter 2. The vast bigness of it, and the hours we were spent to create the renders took a HELL of a LONG Time. Even now, some render in chapter 2 need to be changed so that they can look better as some were rushed. We also had to block off one route, as it was going to take even more time to finish. Furthermore, the entire visual novel has now become a huge project, therefore we are creating a better workflow to fix these issues. We want to add animations both sex and general to make the visual novel better.

The major issue is our hardware and life as we spending our free time doing this and using our computers, which bogs down the speed and overall update releases of the VN. So guys please bear with us…..

Key Issues that need to be fixed:

• Flow and pacing – some scene or story is too abrupt
• Some laggy animations need to be redone again
• Old animations which were no good need to be replaced with better animations
• Add the dark route story chapter 2 is complete
• GUI revamped ( need to be done so that we can then just focus on chapters and not interface components)
• Spelling and grammar mistakes in the visual novel need to be fix
• Time management of the visual novel
• Fixing and upgrading chapter 0 and 1
